In 2004, Mt. Olive’s vision took another giant leap forward. Through the hard work, dedication and fervent prayers of the church’s congregation, in that year we broke ground on our new worship center.
The new Mt. Olive Baptist Church sanctuary now takes shape directly adjacent to the church’s present day home. It is important to us that the men, women, and children of our community see this level of growth and confidence take place near their homes and in the neighborhood they call home. We are humbled as God expresses his great strength, through us. Mt. Olive will continue to shine its light from the little hill on Country Club Road… our home.
Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream. Mt. Olive Baptist Church has a dream too, and a prayer. We dream of a church that grows both spiritually and physically as we continue to meet the needs of our members, and our community.
